The military police arrested on Friday a number of Syrian suspects in raids it carried out in the Antelias areas north of Beirut.

Media reports said that the raids were carried out near the Golden Beach resort.

The security forces blocked the seaside road leading to Beirut, creating heavy traffic in the area, but it was later reopened, added the National News Agency

Later on Friday, the Army Intelligence raided Syrian refugee encampments in the northern region of Zgharta, arresting five suspects, said NNA.

It also confiscated two motorcycles in the area because their owners did not possess their legal licenses.

The army had carried out in recent months several raids throughout Lebanon in search of suspects.

Several have been arrested, many of whom are suspected of having links with terrorist groups.

Unbelievable we let these people into Lebanon, so they can be safe and then they start terrorizing us??

Unbelievable! We learned nothing from what the Palestinians did to us!

It's really nerve wrecking! Get out of my Lebanon!!
